From the city center, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is 'Bergen Busstasjon'. Look for bus number 3 or 4 heading towards 'Åsane'. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Åsane Terminal'. From there, transfer to bus number 80 or 81, which will take you directly to 'Vidden tursti'. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Once you arrive, follow the signs that point towards the hiking trails. The Vidden tursti is well marked and you will see the starting point clearly.

Start at the 'Bergen Storsenter' light rail station in the city center. Board the light rail heading towards 'Lagunen'. After about 20 minutes, get off at 'Kokstad'.
