Start at Bergen's central bus station, Bergen Busstasjon, located near the train station. Look for Bus number 3 heading towards 'Birkelandsskiftet'. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Fantoft' stop, which is the nearest stop to the Fantoft Stave Church. From the bus stop, walk about 5 minutes along Fantoftvegen, and you will see the church on your right.
Light Rail
Begin at the Byparken station in central Bergen and take the Light Rail (Bybane) towards 'Lagunen Storsenter'. After about 20 minutes, get off at the 'Flesland' station. Transfer to Bus number 3 at 'Flesland' and ride for about 10 minutes until you reach the 'Fantoft' stop. From there, walk for about 5 minutes along Fantoftvegen to reach the church.
