Ferry
From Fredrikstad, make your way to the ferry terminal at 'Kirkebygden' (located at Kirkebygda 4, 1630 Fredrikstad). You can take bus number 1 or 3 from the city center to reach the terminal. The bus ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Once at the terminal, purchase your ferry ticket to 'Koster'. The ferry ride takes about 1 hour and provides beautiful views of the surrounding archipelago.
