If you are driving, head towards Strömstad. From Strömstad, take road 165 towards Tjärnö. After approximately 10 km, you will see signs for 'Tjärnö' and 'Saltö'. Follow these signs, and you will arrive at Entrance Tjärnö / Saltö. Parking is available near the entrance, and the area is well marked.

To reach Entrance Tjärnö / Saltö via public transportation, take a bus from Strömstad to Tjärnö. The bus service is operated by Västtrafik, and you can catch the bus from Strömstad Bus Station. Check the Västtrafik website for the latest schedule and ticket prices. Once you arrive at the Tjärnö bus stop, it's a short walk to the entrance, following the signs for 'Saltö'. The walk is about 1 km.

If you are visiting the islands, you can take a ferry from Strömstad to Saltö. The ferry departs from Strömstad's harbor and takes approximately 30 minutes to reach Saltö. Be sure to check the ferry schedule in advance. Once you arrive at Saltö, follow the signage for Entrance Tjärnö which is a short walk from the ferry terminal.
