If you are starting from Fredrikstad city center, head southeast on Storgata Street towards the river. Continue straight until you reach the bridge (Fredriksten Bridge). Cross the bridge and keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with Tøihusgaten. Turn left onto Tøihusgaten and continue walking for about 500 meters. Fredrikstad Museum will be on your right at Tøihusgaten 41.

From Fredrikstad city center, walk to the nearest bus stop at Torv. Catch bus number 1 or 2 towards Gamlebyen. Get off at the stop called Tøihusgaten. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk. Head southeast on Tøihusgaten, and Fredrikstad Museum will be on your left at Tøihusgaten 41.

If you are using a bicycle, you can start from the city center and follow the bike lanes along the river. Head towards the east and take the bike path that leads to Gamlebyen. Once you reach Tøihusgaten, turn right and continue biking for about 500 meters. The museum will be on your right at Tøihusgaten 41.
