    Walking

    If you're starting from the Fredrikstad Train Station, exit the station and head south on Jernbanegata. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Storgata. Turn left onto Storgata and follow it for about 600 meters. You will pass several shops and cafes. As you approach the end of Storgata, you will see Stortorvet, which is a large square and the central hub of Fredrikstad.

    From the Fredrikstad City Center (Torvbyen Shopping Center), exit the shopping center onto Torggata. Turn left and walk towards the intersection with Storgata. Turn right onto Storgata and continue straight for about 300 meters. You will arrive at Stortorvet, which will be on your left, marked by its public square.

    If you're coming from the Old Town (Gamlebyen), take the main path leading out of the Old Town towards the river. Once you reach the riverbank, turn right and follow the path along the river until you reach the bridge (Fredrikstad Bridge). Cross the bridge, and once you are on the other side, continue straight ahead to the intersection with Storgata. Turn left onto Storgata and walk for about 400 meters until you reach Stortorvet.
