If you're starting from the Fredrikstad Train Station, exit the station and head south on Jernbanegata. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Storgata. Turn left onto Storgata and follow it for about 600 meters. You will pass several shops and cafes. As you approach the end of Storgata, you will see Stortorvet, which is a large square and the central hub of Fredrikstad.

Turn right onto Storgata and continue straight for about 300 meters. You will arrive at Stortorvet, which will be on your left, marked by its public square.
