If you are starting from Fredrikstad's train station, exit the station and head south on Jernbanegata. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Kongens gate. Turn left onto Kongens gate and walk for about 10 minutes. You will pass several shops and cafes. When you reach the town square (Torvet), continue straight onto Torvgaten. Fredrikstad's Old Town will be located on your right side at Torvgaten 59 A.

From the city center, head to the nearest bus stop (for example, near the Fredrikstad City Hall). Take bus number 3 towards 'Gamlebyen.' The bus will take you directly to the Gamlebyen stop.
