If you're starting from the center of Kristiansand, head towards the Kristiansand Cathedral (Domkirken). From the Cathedral, walk south along Kilden Cultural Centre towards the waterfront. Once you reach the waterfront, continue walking along the harbor until you reach the intersection with Galgebergveien. Turn left on Galgebergveien and walk straight. The Old ruin is located at Galgebergveien 32, about a 20-minute walk from the Cathedral.

From the main bus terminal in Kristiansand, take bus number 2 towards Mosby. Get off at the stop called 'Galgeberg'. From there, walk down Galgebergveien for about 5 minutes. The Old ruin is located at Galgebergveien 32. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes, and walking from the bus stop to the ruin will take about 5 minutes.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental spots in Kristiansand. Start from the city center and follow the bike paths towards the waterfront. Once you reach the waterfront, follow the path along the coast until you reach Galgebergveien. Turn left onto Galgebergveien, and continue cycling. The Old ruin is about a 15-minute cycle ride from the city center.
