If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Leknes, which is one of the main hubs in the Lofoten Islands. From Leknes, take the E10 highway heading east towards Svolvær. After approximately 16 kilometers, you'll reach the town of Gravdal. Continue on the E10 for another 9 kilometers until you reach the junction towards the Rv 815. Take the Rv 815 towards Ballstad. Drive for about 12 kilometers, and then turn onto the road towards Grunnfør. Follow the road for about 3 kilometers until you see signs for Tonis Sandbank, located at CG2W+5P, 8315 Grunnfør. There is parking available nearby.

To reach Tonis Sandbank using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Leknes to Ballstad. The bus service is operated by Lofoten Trafikkselskap and typically runs several times a day, so check the latest schedule. Once you arrive in Ballstad, you can take a taxi to Grunnfør, which is about 6 kilometers away. The taxi fare may range from 150-250 NOK depending on the time of day and local rates. Ask the driver to take you to CG2W+5P, where Tonis Sandbank is located.

If you're feeling adventurous and have access to a bicycle, you can bike from Leknes to Tonis Sandbank. This route is approximately 40 kilometers and will take you through beautiful scenery.
