From Ålesund, take the E39 highway towards Molde. Continue on E39 until you reach the town of Sunndalsøra. From here, take the Rv70 road towards Oppdal. After approximately 30 km, turn onto the E6 highway towards Trondheim. Follow the E6 for about 40 km until you reach Hjerkinn. The entrance to Dovrefjell–Sunndalsfjella National Park is located at Hjerkinnhusvegen 33, 2661 Hjerkinn. Note that parking may incur a fee.
