After reaching Fauske, take the exit towards E10 in the direction of Lofoten and Narvik. Follow E10 for about 46 km. Then, take the exit towards Rv17 (Kystriksveien) and follow this scenic coastal road for about 45 km. Look for signs indicating Hovdsundet. Follow the road until you reach the destination located at coordinates 67.4077932 latitude and 14.5763128 longitude.

Public Transportation

From Bodø, take a bus or train to Fauske. The bus service is operated by Nordland fylkeskommune, and the train service is operated by Vy. Once in Fauske, transfer to a local bus that operates towards Rv17. Make sure to check the schedule for this bus as it may not run frequently. The bus will take you along the scenic route, and you should disembark at a stop that indicates Hovdsundet. Walk the remaining distance to the coordinates (67.4077932, 14.5763128).
