If you're traveling by car, start from the nearest city, Bodø. Take the E6 highway heading south. Continue on the E6 until you reach Fauske. From Fauske, follow the signs for the E80 road. Take the E80 towards the village of Røkland. After crossing the bridge at Røkland, turn onto road 8120 towards Nygårdsjøen. Continue on this road for approximately 15 km until you reach the entrance of Láhko National Park. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel and check the weather conditions, as the roads can be challenging during winter.

For public transportation, take a bus from Bodø to Fauske. The bus service is operated by Nordland fylkeskommune. From Fauske, you will need to take another bus towards Røkland. After arriving in Røkland, you may need to book a taxi to reach Nygårdsjøen, as public transport may not directly connect to the park entrance. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance. The total cost for the bus journey should be around 200 NOK, but this may vary based on the route and season.
