Car
If you are traveling by car, start on the E6 highway. From the city of Bodø, head south on the E6. Continue driving for approximately 100 kilometers until you reach the junction for E6 and the turn-off for Saltfjellveien. Take the exit onto Saltfjellveien and follow the signs for The Arctic Circle Centre. The centre is located at Saltfjellveien 1850, 8630 Storforshei, and you will see clear signage as you approach. Parking is available on-site.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Bodø to Storforshei. Buses run regularly and the journey takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive at Storforshei bus station, you will need to take a taxi or a local shuttle service to reach The Arctic Circle Centre, which is around 7 kilometers away. There may be a taxi fare of approximately 150 NOK depending on local rates. Ensure to check the bus schedules in advance on the local transport website.
Bicycle
For the adventurous traveler, biking to The Arctic Circle Centre from Bodø is a challenging yet rewarding option. The route follows the E6, where you can enjoy beautiful scenery along the way.
