    If you are in the heart of Grünerløkka, start by heading towards the river Akerselva. From the popular area around Mathallen food hall, walk south along Maridalsveien street towards Sars' gate. Continue straight until you reach Sars' gate. The Botanical Garden entrance is located at Sars' gate 1, just a short walk away.

    From Grünerløkka, you can take Tram Line 11 or 12 from the nearest tram stop, 'Schous Plass'. Board the tram heading towards 'Majorstuen'. After 4 stops, get off at 'Bislett'. From there, walk south down Bislett towards Sars' gate. The Botanical Garden will be on your left at Sars' gate 1. The tram fare is approximately 38 NOK for a single ticket.
