Walking
If you are in the heart of Grünerløkka, start at the popular street, Thorvald Meyers gate. Head northeast towards Schous plass. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Bislett. Turn left onto Bislett, and keep walking until you see a large park area. Outside Former Deichmanske is located at 0179 Oslo, which is within walking distance from here. Look for the distinctive building with a historical façade that hints at its past as a library. The location is easily recognizable with its unique architecture.
Public Transport - Tram
From Grünerløkka, you can hop on Tram Line 11 or 12 at the nearest tram stop, which is 'Schous Plass'. Ride the tram in the direction of 'Majorstuen'. Get off at the stop 'Birkelunden'. From there, it's a short walk: head south on Bislett until you reach the intersection with Thorvald Meyers gate. Turn left and continue until you arrive at Outside Former Deichmanske. Note that a tram ticket costs around 38 NOK for a single journey.
Bicycle
