If you are starting from Tromsø city center, head north on Storgata Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Strandgata Street, where you will turn left. Follow Strandgata until you reach the bridge, cross the bridge, and keep going straight. This road becomes Langnesvegen. Continue on Langnesvegen for about 1.5 kilometers. Prestvannet will be on your left, and you will see signs pointing to the lake.

From the city center, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is at Storgata. Take bus number 36 towards 'Langnes'. Stay on the bus until the stop named 'Prestvannet'. Once you get off, you will be just a short walk from the lake. Follow the path indicated by signs to reach the scenic area around Prestvannet.

If you rent a bicycle in Tromsø, start from the city center and head towards Storgata Street. Continue north until you reach the waterfront, then follow the bike path along the coast. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will find a bike path that leads directly to Langnesvegen. Follow this path until you reach Prestvannet, which will be on your left.
