Bus
From Tromsø city center, head to the nearest bus stop at 'Storgata' (the main street). You can catch bus number 34 towards Kvaløysletta. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Kvaløysletta sentrum'. From there, walk west along Håkøyvegen for about 10 minutes until you reach Håkøyvegen 39, where Tirpitz-platen is located.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Tromsø. Follow the bike path along the waterfront heading towards Kvaløya Island. This scenic route will take you around 45 minutes. Once you reach Kvaløysletta, continue on Håkøyvegen for about 5 minutes until you arrive at Håkøyvegen 39, where you will find Tirpitz-platen.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and prefer to walk, start from the city center and head towards the bridge to Kvaløya Island. Cross the bridge and follow the road signs towards Kvaløysletta. This route is approximately 7 kilometers and will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you reach Kvaløysletta, walk along Håkøyvegen for about 10 minutes to reach Håkøyvegen 39, the location of Tirpitz-platen.
