As you ascend, you will see signs pointing toward Kristiansten Fortress. Continue straight until you reach the entrance at Kristianstensbakken 60.

From Trondheim's central bus station, take bus number 3 towards Lerkendal. Get off at the 'Kristiansten' stop. Once you disembark, walk straight up the hill on Kristianstensbakken. The fortress will be on your left-hand side, and you will reach the entrance shortly.
