    Getting There

    Walking

    From the city center of Trondheim, start at the main square, Torget. Head east on Nordre gate, then turn left onto Kjøpmannsgata. Continue until you reach the intersection with Prinsens gate. Turn right and walk along Prinsens gate until you reach the end, where it intersects with Bakkegata. Turn left onto Bakkegata and follow it uphill. As you ascend, you will see signs pointing toward Kristiansten Fortress. Continue straight until you reach the entrance at Kristianstensbakken 60.

    Public Transport (Bus)

    From Trondheim's central bus station, take bus number 3 towards Lerkendal. Get off at the 'Kristiansten' stop. Once you disembark, walk straight up the hill on Kristianstensbakken. The fortress will be on your left-hand side, and you will reach the entrance shortly.

    Biking

    If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services available in Trondheim. Start from the city center and head toward Brattøra. Follow the waterfront until you reach the bridge over the river. Cross the bridge, then turn left and follow the path up the hill toward Kristiansten Fortress.
