Walking
If you are starting from the Trondheim Central Station (Trondheim Sentralstasjon), exit the station and head south on Jernbanegata. Walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Thomas Angells gate. Turn right onto Thomas Angells gate and continue walking for approximately 300 meters until you reach the square called Torget. Olav Tryggvason is located in this square, marked by the prominent statue of the king.

From the Trondheim Central Station, you can take bus number 5 or 6 towards Lademoen. Get off at the stop 'Torvet'. Once you exit the bus, walk a short distance towards the square, and there you will find the statue of Olav Tryggvason prominently displayed.

If you are near the Nidaros Cathedral, walk south towards the river. Head towards the bridge (Nidelva) and cross it. Once across, turn left and walk towards the town square (Torget). The statue of Olav Tryggvason will be visible in the square.
