Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the city center of Trondheim, start at the main square, Torget. Head north towards Munkegata. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Kongsgårdsgata. Turn left onto Kongsgårdsgata. Keep walking for about 400 meters. The Nidaros Cathedral will be on your right at Kongsgårdsgata 2. You can't miss its stunning façade!

  • Public Transportation (Bus)

    If you are further away, you can take a bus to reach Nidaros Cathedral. Head to the nearest bus stop and take bus number 4 or 5, heading toward Lerkendal or Nidarosdomen. Get off at the 'Kongsgårdsgata' stop. From there, walk approximately 200 meters south on Kongsgårdsgata. The cathedral will be on your right at Kongsgårdsgata 2.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations around the city. Head towards the city center and follow the path along the river Nidelva.
