If you are starting from downtown Akron, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the Summit County Transit Authority (SCTA) bus number 1 towards the Kenmore area. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the stop at Manchester Rd & 10th St. Once you disembark, walk south on Manchester Rd for about 0.3 miles (approximately a 6-minute walk). You will see Lake Nesmith Park on your right.

If you are near the Akron Public Library, head west on West Market St towards the intersection with South Main St. Cross South Main St and continue walking west until you reach Manchester Rd. Turn right (north) on Manchester Rd and continue walking for about 1.5 miles. Lake Nesmith Park will be on your left, just past the intersection with 10th St.

For those who prefer biking, start from the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail. Head north on the trail until you reach the intersection with Waterloo Rd. Turn left onto Waterloo Rd and follow it until it turns into Manchester Rd. Continue north for about 1.2 miles, and Lake Nesmith Park will be on your right.
