Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving, head to the Boston Trailhead located at 1498 Boston Mills Rd West, Peninsula, OH 44264. From the center of Cuyahoga Valley National Park, take the scenic route along Riverview Road (CR 14). Follow Riverview Road north until you reach the intersection with Boston Mills Road. Turn left onto Boston Mills Road, and continue for about 2 miles. The Boston Trailhead will be on your left, with parking available on-site.

  • Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, take the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad, which operates in the park. Board the train at the Akron Northside Station or any other stop along the route to the Boston Mill Station. Once you disembark at Boston Mill Station, walk west on Boston Mills Road for approximately half a mile. The Boston Trailhead will be on your right. Note that train tickets may incur a cost, so check the Scenic Railroad's website for the latest pricing and schedule.
