Car
If you are driving, start by getting onto the Ohio Turnpike (I-80) and take Exit 173 for OH-8 South towards Akron. Merge onto OH-8 South and continue for approximately 10 miles. Take the exit for Peninsula and turn left onto State Route 303. Follow State Route 303 until you reach the intersection with Stanford Road. Turn right onto Stanford Road, and in about 0.5 miles, you will see the Stanford Trailhead on your left at 6093 Stanford Rd, Peninsula, OH 44264. There is no parking fee at the trailhead.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take the RTA (Regional Transit Authority) bus line 55 from Cleveland towards Hudson. You will need to transfer at the Hudson Park-n-Ride to the 77 bus line. This will take you to a stop near Peninsula. From there, it is approximately a 1-mile walk to Stanford Trailhead. Head south on Main Street, then turn right onto Stanford Road, following it until you reach the trailhead. Be sure to check the RTA schedule for bus timings, as service may be limited on weekends.

For those who prefer biking, Cuyahoga Valley National Park offers a scenic bike path along the Towpath Trail. You can access the Towpath from various points in the park. If you are starting at the Boston Mill Visitor Center, head south on the Towpath Trail for about 4 miles, then follow the signs towards Stanford Road. The trail will lead you directly to the trailhead. Remember to wear a helmet and bring water, as the bike path can be quite exposed.
