If you are driving within Cuyahoga Valley National Park, head to Major Road in Peninsula, OH 44264. From the Boston Store Visitor Center, head west on Akron Peninsula Road toward Riverview Road. Turn right onto Riverview Road and continue for about 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Major Road. Horseshoe Pond will be on your left side after approximately 0.5 miles. Look for parking areas nearby to safely stop your vehicle.

Using public transportation, take the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad. Board the train at any station along the route, such as Akron Northside or Peninsula. Disembark at the Peninsula station, which is the closest stop to Horseshoe Pond. From the station, walk south on Main Street, then turn right onto Major Road. Follow Major Road for about 0.5 miles until you reach Horseshoe Pond. Note that train tickets will incur a cost, so check the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad website for pricing and schedules.
