If you are starting from downtown Dayton, head to the nearest bus stop for the Greater Dayton RTA. You can take Route 1 (the Main Street Line) from the stop at 3rd & Main. Ride the bus northbound until you reach the stop at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, which is located at 1100 Spaatz St. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to check the RTA schedule for the most up-to-date times.

If you're feeling adventurous and want to bike to the museum, start at the RiverScape MetroPark in downtown Dayton. Head east on the Great Miami Riverway trail. Follow the trail for approximately 7 miles until you reach the museum. You will need to navigate onto Spaatz St, which leads directly to the museum entrance. Be cautious of traffic when navigating to the museum.

Walking
For those who prefer to walk, you can start at the Dayton Convention Center. Head east on 5th St, then turn left onto Jefferson St. Continue walking north until you reach the intersection with 6th St. Turn left on 6th St and continue until you reach the intersection with Spaatz St. Turn right onto Spaatz St, and the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force will be on your left after about a half-mile walk. This route is approximately 3 miles and will take about 1 hour to walk.
