If you're traveling by car, start from any point in Grand River Valley and make your way to I-90 W. Follow I-90 W until you reach Exit 118 for OH-2 W toward Toledo. Continue on OH-2 W for approximately 30 miles. Take the exit toward OH-25 S/Perrysburg, and merge onto OH-25 S. Continue on OH-25 S for about 8 miles, then take the exit for US-20 W/US-23 S toward Perrysburg. After about 2 miles, take a left onto W River Rd. Fort Meigs Historic Site will be on your left at 29100 W River Rd, Perrysburg, OH 43551. Parking is available on site, and there may be a small entrance fee for the historic site, so be prepared for that.

Once in Toledo, take the Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA) bus route that goes to Perrysburg. Make sure to check the latest TARTA schedule online as it may vary. After arriving at the bus stop in Perrysburg, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles to reach Fort Meigs Historic Site. Follow W Indiana Ave until you reach Fort Meigs, which is located at 29100 W River Rd. Be aware that public transportation may involve transfer fees and a longer travel time, so plan accordingly.
