Start by walking to the closest bus stop in Mason, which is located at the Mason Community Center on 6050 S Mason Montgomery Rd. From there, take the Warren County Transit bus (Route 1) towards the Cincinnati Downtown area. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest departure times. Once you arrive at the Cincinnati Downtown, get off at the stop closest to the Great American Ball Park. From there, walk east along E Freedom Way for about 5 minutes until you reach the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center located at 50 E Freedom Way, Cincinnati, OH 45202.

For those who prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local bike share program. Start your ride from the Mason Community Center and head south on S Mason Montgomery Rd. Continue on Mason Montgomery Rd until you reach the intersection with Fields Ertel Rd. Turn left onto Fields Ertel Rd and follow the bike lane towards I-71. Continue on Fields Ertel Rd until you reach the exit for I-71 S. Take the exit towards Cincinnati and then exit at 4B for Liberty St. Follow Liberty St to E Freedom Way, where you will find the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center at 50 E Freedom Way, Cincinnati, OH 45202.

If you are feeling adventurous and want to walk to the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, start from a central location in Mason, like the Mason Municipal Building. Head south on Reading Rd and continue until you reach the intersection with S Mason Montgomery Rd. Follow S Mason Montgomery Rd until you reach the bus stop for Warren County Transit. From here, take the bus to Cincinnati Downtown as described above. Once you arrive downtown, walk east along E Freedom Way for about 5 minutes to reach the museum.
