For example, if you are coming from the city of Altus, head north on N Main St toward W Broadway St, then take a left onto US-62 W. Follow US-62 W for approximately 30 miles and keep an eye out for signs indicating Mountain Park. Once you reach Mountain Park, turn left onto E 1566 Rd. You will see the entrance to Great Plains State Park shortly on your right at 22487 E 1566 Rd.
