From any point within Ouachita National Forest, head towards the nearest major road, which is Highway 259. Follow signs directing you to Hodgen, OK. Once you reach Hodgen, look for Billy Creek Recreation Area signs. Turn onto Billy Creek Road (which may also be marked as a Forest Service road) and continue until you reach the recreation area. Please note that the road may be unpaved in sections, so a vehicle suited for rough terrain is recommended.
