Getting there

Car

From the main town of Al Hajar Ash Sharqi, head towards the town of Sinaw. Take Route 23 heading east and continue for about 30 kilometers. After reaching Sinaw, follow the signs towards Wadi Mibam. The road will transition to Route 31, which you should take for approximately 10 kilometers. Look for a small dirt road branching off to the right, which will lead you directly to Wadi Mibam. Parking is available at the entrance, but be cautious of any signs indicating fees.

Public Transportation

Start by taking a local bus or shared taxi from Al Hajar Ash Sharqi to Sinaw. The fare is typically around 1-2 Omani Rials. Once in Sinaw, you will need to hire a local taxi to Wadi Mibam, as public transport does not run directly to the wadi. The taxi fare may vary but expect to pay around 5 Omani Rials for the ride, which should take about 15-20 minutes. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey.

Walking

If you are near the entrance to Wadi Mibam, you can walk from the parking area into the wadi itself. The access route is well-marked, and the walk offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. Ensure you have plenty of water and wear appropriate footwear as the terrain can be uneven.
