Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from central Muscat, head north on Sultan Qaboos Street (Muscat Expressway) towards Mutrah. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout near the Mutrah Souq. Take the first exit onto Al Bahri Street, which leads directly to Mutrah Corniche. You can find parking along the Corniche or nearby streets; parking is generally free but can be limited during peak hours.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  To reach Mutrah Corniche by bus, look for the Mwasalat bus service that connects various parts of Muscat. Take Bus 1 or Bus 7, which both have stops near Mutrah. The fare is approximately 200 Baisa (0.52 Omani Rial). Once you get off at the Mutrah Souq stop, it’s a short walk to the Corniche, which is just a few minutes away. Follow the signs towards the waterfront.

• Taxi

  Taxis are readily available throughout Muscat. You can either hail a taxi on the street or use a ride-hailing app like Careem. The ride from central Muscat to Mutrah Corniche should cost around 3-5 Omani Rials (1-1.30 USD), depending on traffic. Once you arrive, you can be dropped off directly at the Corniche.

• Walking

  If you're staying near the Mutrah area, walking to the Corniche is a pleasant option. The area is pedestrian-friendly, and you can enjoy the scenic views along the way. From Mutrah Souq, simply walk towards the waterfront, where the Corniche runs parallel to the sea. It is about a 10-15 minute walk.
