Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From the center of Muscat (e.g., Ruwi Bus Station), take Bus 1 or Bus 4 heading towards Mutrah. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the Mutrah Corniche stop. From there, walk along the Corniche towards the northern end where you will see signs for Mutrah Fort.

    If you are near the Mutrah Souq, you can walk to Mutrah Fort. Start at the entrance of the souq and head towards the waterfront. Follow the Corniche, which is a beautiful promenade along the sea. Continue walking north until you reach the base of the fort, which is situated on a hill. The path leading up to the fort is well-marked.
