Getting There

• Taxi

  From your current location in Nizwa, you can take a taxi to Bald Sayt. Simply flag down a taxi or ask your hotel to call one for you. Make sure to mention 'Bald Sayt' to the driver. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will take you along the main road (Route 21) towards the direction of the Hajar Mountains. Once you reach Bald Sayt, the taxi can drop you off at the main entrance of the Snake Canyon adventures.

• Bus

  You can catch the local bus from Nizwa to the nearby town of Al Hamra, and then take another local transport option to Bald Sayt. Head to the Nizwa bus station and look for the bus heading to Al Hamra. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Al Hamra, you can hire a local taxi or look for shared transport heading to Bald Sayt. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they will take you to Bald Sayt.

• Walking

  If you're feeling adventurous and are well-prepared for a hiking experience, you can walk part of the way to Bald Sayt. Start from the center of Nizwa and head towards Route 21. Follow the road signs leading towards the Hajar Mountains. It’s a considerable distance (approximately 20 km), so ensure you have enough water and supplies. Once you’re close to Bald Sayt, you can ask locals for directions to the Snake Canyon adventures. However, this route is recommended for those who are physically fit and experienced in hiking.
