Walking
If you're staying in downtown Bend, start by heading south on Wall Street towards the river. Continue on Wall Street until you reach the intersection with SW Franklin Avenue. Turn left onto SW Franklin Avenue and follow it until you reach the river. You will see the Deschutes River Trail. Follow the trail south along the river. After approximately 1 mile, the trail will lead you directly to Farewell Bend Park. The park is located at 1000 SW Reed Market Rd, and you'll find entrances that lead you right into the park from the trail.
Public Transit
From downtown Bend, walk to the nearest public transit stop located at SW Bond Street and SW Oregon Avenue. Board the Cascades East Transit bus #1 (Red Line) heading towards the South. Stay on the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop labeled 'Reed Market Rd & 15th St'. From there, walk approximately 5 minutes south on Reed Market Rd. Farewell Bend Park will be on your left at 1000 SW Reed Market Rd.
Biking
If you have access to a bike, start from downtown Bend and head south on Wall Street. After crossing the river, follow the Deschutes River Trail south. The trail is scenic and bike-friendly. Continue biking for about 1 mile, and you will arrive at Farewell Bend Park. The park entrance is easily accessible from the trail.
