If you are starting from downtown Bend, head north on Wall Street towards the river. When you reach the river, turn left onto the Deschutes River Trail. Follow the trail along the river for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with NW 1st Street. Turn right onto NW 1st Street, and after a short walk, you will find First Street Rapids Park on your left at 1980 NW 1st St.

From downtown Bend, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops. Start by heading north on Wall Street towards the river. Once you reach the Deschutes River, take the Deschutes River Trail north. Continue along the trail for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with NW 1st Street. Turn right onto NW 1st Street, and First Street Rapids Park will be on your left at 1980 NW 1st St.

Use the Cascades East Transit bus service. Board the bus at the downtown Bend stop and take the Route 1 bus towards the north.
