If you are traveling by car, start by heading to I-84 East from any location in the Cascade Mountains. Take exit 44 for Cascade Locks, and follow the signs to Cascade Locks. Once in Cascade Locks, turn onto the Historic Columbia River Highway (US-30). Continue on US-30 for approximately 3 miles until you reach the Wahclella Falls Trailhead parking area on your right. There is no fee for parking.

For those using public transportation, you can take a Greyhound or a local bus service to Cascade Locks. Once you arrive at the Cascade Locks bus station, you will need to arrange for a taxi or a rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to take you to the Wahclella Falls Trailhead, which is about 3 miles away. Taxi fares can vary, but expect to pay around $15-$20 one way.

If you are already in Cascade Locks and prefer to walk, you can reach the Wahclella Falls Trail by following the Historic Columbia River Highway (US-30) for about 3 miles.
