Car
If you are traveling by car, start by heading to Interstate 84 (I-84). Take exit 44 for Cascade Locks. After exiting, turn left onto Cascade Locks Highway and follow it for about 1 mile. Look for the Multnomah Falls Overlook Spur Trail #441A on your right. There is limited parking available near the trailhead, so plan to arrive early, especially on weekends.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take the Columbia Gorge Express from Portland to Cascade Locks. The bus will drop you off at the Cascade Locks Visitor Center. From there, it is about a 20-minute walk to the Multnomah Falls Overlook Spur Trail #441A. Follow the signs towards the falls, and be prepared for some uphill walking. Check the bus schedule in advance to ensure you have a return trip planned.
Hiking
Once you reach the Multnomah Falls Overlook Spur Trail #441A, begin your hike along the trail. The path to Wiesendanger Falls is well-marked, and the hike is approximately 1.5 miles one way. It is considered moderate in difficulty, so wear appropriate footwear and bring water. The trail offers beautiful views of the surrounding area, leading you directly to the falls.
