If you are driving from any location in the Cascade Mountains, start by heading towards US-26 E or I-84 E, depending on your current location. If you are near Mount Hood, take US-26 E towards Government Camp and continue onto US-26 E until you reach the junction with I-84 E. Merge onto I-84 E, which will take you directly toward the Columbia River Gorge. Follow I-84 E for approximately 30 miles until you reach Exit 64 for Hood River. After exiting, merge onto Cascade Ave, where you can find the Columbia River Gorge Visitor Center at 714 Cascade Ave, Hood River, OR 97031.
