From Frenchglen, take the Steens Mountain Loop Road (Steens Mountain Rd) and follow the signs for approximately 25 miles to the Steens Mountain area. Be prepared for gravel roads and ensure your vehicle is suitable for this type of terrain. Note that there may be a small fee for parking or access, so keep some cash on hand.
