Car
If you are driving, the Gateway to the Gorge Visitor Center is located at 475 E Historic Columbia River Hwy, Troutdale, OR 97060. From Portland, take I-84 East towards The Dalles. Take exit 17 for Troutdale and turn left onto Historic Columbia River Highway. Continue straight for about 2 miles, and the visitor center will be on your right. Parking is available on-site.

Public Transportation
To reach the Gateway to the Gorge Visitor Center using public transportation, take the MAX Light Rail from downtown Portland towards the Eastside on the Blue Line. Get off at the 'Cleveland Avenue' stop in Gresham. From there, transfer to the Columbia Gorge Express bus, which operates daily and will take you directly to the visitor center. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance for accurate timing and costs, as fares may apply.
