From downtown Hood River, walk to the Hood River Transit Center located at 217 4th St. Catch the Columbia Area Transit (CAT) bus heading towards Cascade Locks. The bus schedule can be found at the transit center or online. Make sure to get off at the Starvation Creek State Park stop. From there, follow the signs to the park entrance, which is a short walk away.
Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local shop in Hood River. Head east on Oak St towards 1st St, then take a left onto 1st St. Continue until you reach the Historic Columbia River Highway.
