Start at the visitor center located at 714 Cascade Ave, Hood River, OR 97031. Exit the center and head south on Cascade Ave. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Oak St. Turn right on Oak St and walk for another 0.2 miles. You will arrive at the waterfront park area, where you can enjoy scenic views of the Columbia River.

From the same starting point at 714 Cascade Ave, Hood River, OR 97031, walk to the nearest bus stop at the intersection of Cascade Ave and 2nd St. Board the Columbia Area Transit (CAT) bus heading towards the Columbia River Gorge.
