Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from downtown Hood River, begin at the intersection of Oak Street and 2nd Street. Head east on Oak Street for two blocks until you reach 4th Street. Turn right on 4th Street and continue south for three blocks until you reach State Street. Turn left on State Street, and continue for one block until you reach 5th Street. Turn right on 5th Street. After a short walk, you will see Jackson Park on your left at the intersection with Jackson Avenue.

    From downtown Hood River, start at the waterfront park area near the Hood River Marina. Follow the paved bike path along the Columbia River, heading east. Continue for approximately half a mile until you see a sign for Jackson Park. At this point, turn right and head up the hill towards Jackson Park.
