If you're in downtown Hood River, start at the intersection of Oak Street and 1st Street. Head north on 1st Street towards the river. After about 0.3 miles, you will reach a park area where you can see the Columbia River. Continue on the path along the riverfront until you reach the intersection with Portway Avenue. Turn left onto Portway Avenue. The Hook will be on your right after about a 0.2-mile walk.
