If you're in downtown Hood River, start at the intersection of Oak Street and 1st Street. Head north on 1st Street towards the river. After about 0.3 miles, you will reach a park area where you can see the Columbia River. Continue on the path along the riverfront until you reach the intersection with Portway Avenue. Turn left onto Portway Avenue. The Hook will be on your right after about a 0.2-mile walk.

For a biking route from downtown Hood River, begin at the corner of Oak Street and 1st Street. Ride north on 1st Street and follow it until you reach the riverside path. Turn right onto the waterfront bike path and continue riding until you reach the intersection with Portway Avenue. Turn left onto Portway Avenue, and The Hook will be located on your right after approximately 0.2 miles.

If you're using public transit, you can take the Columbia Area Transit (CAT) bus service. Board the bus at the nearest stop in downtown Hood River on Oak Street. Make sure to check the schedule for the next available bus to the Portway Avenue route. Once you arrive at the stop closest to Portway Avenue, disembark and walk south along Portway Avenue for about 0.3 miles until you reach The Hook, which will be on your left.
