Getting There

• Car

  From any location in Jefferson County, head towards Highway 20 East. If you're starting in the city of Jefferson, take OR-99E N towards Albany, then merge onto US-20 E. Continue on US-20 E for approximately 30 miles. Once you reach the town of Sweet Home, stay on US-20 E for about 10 more miles until you reach the intersection with OR-126 E. Turn right onto OR-126 E and continue for about 20 miles. Look for signs for Blue River, and keep an eye out for the entrance to Bigelow Hot Springs on the left side of the road. There is usually no parking fee, but check for any local regulations.

• Public Transportation

  Unfortunately, there are limited public transportation options directly to Bigelow Hot Springs. However, you can take a bus from Jefferson County to Eugene, OR using the Cascades East Transit service. From Eugene, you will need to arrange for a rideshare or taxi to Blue River, which is about 30 minutes away. Once in Blue River, you can drive or walk to the hot springs, which are located off OR-126 E. As public transport may not operate frequently, check the latest schedules and fares before planning your trip.
