Once you're on Highway 97, head south towards Highway 58. Take the exit for Highway 58 towards Oakridge. Continue on Highway 58 for about 25 miles until you reach the town of Blue River. The entrance to Willamette National Forest is located just outside of Blue River. Follow signs for the forest as you approach.

    Public Transportation

    Using public transportation, you would first take a bus from your location in Jefferson County to the nearest transit hub, likely in Bend or another nearby city. From there, you can catch a Greyhound or local bus service heading towards Eugene. Once in Eugene, transfer to a local bus service that goes towards Blue River.
