Depending on your starting point, you may need to connect to local roads to reach I-5. For example, if you're starting from Grants Pass, take the exit for I-5 N. Continue on I-5 N for approximately 90 miles. Take exit 774 for CA-161 toward Tulelake. Merge onto CA-161 and continue for about 12 miles. Turn left onto Hill Road, and you will arrive at the Tule Lake National Wildlife Refuge at 4009 Hill Rd, Tulelake, CA 96134. Parking is available on-site free of charge.
