Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start by heading to Klamath Falls. From downtown Klamath Falls, head east on Main Street. Continue on Main Street until you reach the intersection with South 6th Street. Turn left onto South 6th Street and then take a right onto East Washington Street (OR-39). Follow OR-39 for about 3 miles. You will see signs for the OC&E Woods Line State Trail. Turn left onto OC&E Woods Line State Trail and follow it to the parking area.

• Public Transportation

  To reach OC&E Woods Line State Trail using public transportation, you can take the public bus service in Klamath Falls. Check the local bus schedule for routes that head towards East Washington Street. Once you arrive at a stop near East Washington Street, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile to the trailhead. Look for signs directing you to the OC&E Woods Line State Trail. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time for any fare costs.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer cycling, Klamath Falls has bike-friendly routes. Start from downtown Klamath Falls and follow the bike paths towards East Washington Street. The distance is approximately 3 miles. Once you reach East Washington Street, follow the same directions to the trailhead as for the car route.

• Walking

  If you are staying close to the OC&E Woods Line State Trail, you can walk there. From downtown Klamath Falls, head east on Main Street, then turn left onto South 6th Street. From there, turn right onto East Washington Street and continue walking until you reach the trailhead. This route is approximately 2 miles and will take you through some local neighborhoods.
