Car
If you're driving from Portland, take I-84 East towards The Dalles. Exit onto US-26 East towards Mt. Hood. Continue on US-26 for about 35 miles. Look for the signs for 'Rhododendron' and 'Mount Hood National Forest'. After passing through Rhododendron, turn left onto E. Salmon River Road (Forest Road 2612). Follow this road for about 4 miles until you reach the Ramona Falls Trailhead parking area. Be aware that parking may require a day-use fee, typically around $5, which can be paid at a self-service kiosk at the trailhead.

Public Transportation
For those relying on public transportation, take the TriMet MAX Light Rail to the Gateway Transit Center in Portland. From there, transfer to the Mt. Hood Express bus service, which operates between Portland and Mount Hood. The bus will take you to the nearest stop, which is in Rhododendron. From the Rhododendron bus stop, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach the Ramona Falls Trailhead. Note that bus schedules may vary, so check the Mt. Hood Express website for current times and fares, which are usually around $5 one way.

If you're in the Mount Hood National Forest and already at a nearby location, you can hike to the Ramona Falls Trailhead from various starting points. For example, if you're near the Timberline Lodge area, you can take the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) north until you reach the junction that directs you towards Ramona Falls. The hike is moderate, approximately 7 miles one way, and provides stunning views of the surrounding wilderness.
