    Getting There

    Car

    If you are driving from the Mount Hood area, head east on Highway 26 towards Government Camp. Continue on Highway 26 until you reach the junction with Highway 35. Take the exit for Highway 35 South towards Hood River. Continue on Highway 35 until you reach the exit for Interstate 84. Merge onto I-84 East and take exit 44 towards Cascade Locks. After exiting, turn left onto Cascade Locks Highway. Follow this road for about 1 mile, and then turn right onto the road that leads to Upper Oneonta Falls. Look for the parking area, where you can safely park your vehicle.

    Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Mount Hood to Hood River. You can check with the local transit authority for schedules. Once you arrive in Hood River, transfer to the Columbia Gorge Express bus, which travels to Cascade Locks. Make sure to get off at the Cascade Locks stop. From there, you can walk towards Upper Oneonta Falls by heading north on the Cascade Locks Highway for about 1 mile, then follow the signs directing you to the falls. Please note that the walk may take around 20-30 minutes.
